DAY 25

As a continuation to the badminton saga, Anglia bought a set of racquets and hoped to play twice a week or so. 10 RMB for two racquets is ridiculously cheap though the net is horrid neon green. Way to go for encouraging students to exercise.

Along with the racquets, I bought the long-yearned transparent umbrella for the same price.

There was a design book sale in the lobby of the building where our studio is. The spread of books called out to us and we ended up browsing for a good half an hour. I came across a couple of potentially-inspiring books priced at about 150 RMB each and was caught in a dilemma. In the end no money was spent but slight regret was felt.

Continuing with today’s theme of shopping, I couldn’t resist buying this pouch and two *DVDs on the way home from dinner. They amounted to 50 RMB and my shopping hunger was satiated. In return, I will attempt to work hard to prepare for tomorrow’s interim review.
