The テルテルボーズ which yours truly made last night seemed to work charms on today’s weather. The sky cleared up well enough for a morning walk around the school. It was still chilly and windy but I tried my best to enjoy the walk and take in the new surroundings.
This handsome dog headed towards us and posed; it was begging to have its photo taken so I did the honor.
We wandered to the entrance of the main building of DPU which looks worthy of a photo shoot. It would be nice to be able to see more of such grand building entrances back in sunny island Singapore.
The afternoon was spent having our first lecture in a cosy classroom. Mr Armant the lecturer talked about Dalian’s economy. Frankly I was not very interested in it, but he was an amiable person so out of respect I tried not to doze off.
Dinner was up next, and I decided to have instant noodles. First experience cooking in a dorm shared pantry. It was fun cooking with friends, but washing the dishes turned out to be dreadful because of the icy tap water.
