Anglia has always wished to go to Japan to bask in cherry blossom trees, since about forever. Today at 09:45 the wish came true though it was not in Japan. I could barely contain the excitement as I stepped off the bus. Right before me was a spread of cherry blossom trees; they may not be in full bloom yet but they looked simply amazing in my eyes. It felt as though I could spend hours just gazing at the clean white flowers.
Nothing beats getting physical with the trees and flowers. Climbing up the tree bark was exhilarating for me who is not such an adventurous person.
Scouted for a spot under the shade of cherry blossom trees and had lunch there. My local buddy Catherine amazingly found me amongst the throng of people and so we chatted for a while. I imagined this was the umpteenth time she has gone to view cherry blossoms but I was wrong; this was her first time.
The evening was well-spent walking around the market in the school grounds. There was a myriad of things sold there; from vegetables to silkworm cocoons. I believe I saw a silkworm cocoon fidget in the pile and I shuddered.

Fur balls- I mean bunnies sold along the streets. Spotting a big golden retriever in a pet shop, I rushed towards it and it looked more than happy to have me showering it with love. It looked as though it could keep me warm in this cold city. Throughout the day (and probably for the weeks to come) I kept myself happy by spotting dogs and attempting to pet them.

This was today’s dinner, shared between my roommate and myself. I started to feel unwell and pretty much lost my appetite due to the late meal. Anglia needs to take better care of herself.
